Sustainable Singapore Guided Walk
Sense and Sustainability

Description of Programme

Guided Walks

Beyond captivating storylines, our tour will deliver content through the use of visual aids such as photos, videos and maps, bringing the narrative to life. Participants will be engaged in two-way interaction with their guides through quizzes and experiential activities (e.g. traditional games, food sampling, etc). These immersive programmes are designed to deepen your understanding and appreciation of our National Education (NE) messages, making each walk both educational and unforgettable.

Tour Synopsis

From vertical greens that reach up to the sky, to underground spaces hundreds of metres deep, Singapore had to be creative in using our limited land space. With brilliant foresight, our city planners have designed Marina Bay to be the model for sustainable and liveable cities around the world.

More than just giving Singapore a brand-new stunning city skyline, Marina Bay has been designed over 40 years with sustainability in mind, adopting environmentally friendly strategies and technologies in its development. Learn about how Singapore can continue to remain a city of the future with deliberate urban planning and what we can do as citizens to contribute towards making Singapore one of the best cities to live in.
