Description of Programme
This tour provides an in-depth exploration of the early beginnings, cultural practices, heritage, and defining characteristics of one of Singapore’s main constituent communities: the Indians. Participants will delve into the history and motivations behind the early Indian settlers in Singapore, uncovering the challenges they faced and how they eventually integrated into mainstream Singaporean society. This journey through time offers insights that may surprise and enlighten even today's Singaporean Indians.
In addition to historical and cultural insights, the ""Little India Walking Tour"" tour highlights themes of racial harmony and integration.
