Description of Programme
The Kranji War Memorial in Singapore is a significant historical site dedicated to honouring the men and women from the Commonwealth who died defending Singapore and Malaya during World War II. It offers a profound experience that honours the courage and resilience of individuals who faced adversity. Our knowledgeable tour guides share anecdotes and historical insights, deepening participants' understanding of this hallowed ground. Through their narratives, the names etched in stone come to life, humanising the sacrifice and fortitude of those who fought for freedom.
Participants of the ""Kranji War Memorial walking Tour"" will explore the War Graves, Memorial Walls, State Cemetery, and Military Graves, each stop connecting the past to present-day realities of war and the imperative of maintaining peace through deterrence.
