Guided Walks

Beyond captivating storylines, our tour will deliver content through the use of visual aids such as photos, videos and maps, bringing the narrative to life. Participants will be engaged in two-way interaction with their guides through quizzes and experiential activities (e.g. traditional games, food sampling, etc). These immersive programmes are designed to deepen your understanding and appreciation of our National Education (NE) messages, making each walk both educational and unforgettable.

Tour Synopsis

The history of Chinatown is indeed rich and fascinating. Through your guide, be immersed into the life journey of the early Chinese immigrants. Hear their struggles, their hopes, their fears, and what it took to survive the harsh realities of 19th Century Chinatown. Gain a deeper appreciation of Chinese culture, traditions and community spirit as we share the inspiring stories of our forefathers.

2) All tours can proceed in the event of wet weather. For tours with outdoor venues, participants are encouraged to bring along an umbrella or poncho. Our guides will make every effort to continue the tour under available sheltered locations.
