Description of Programme
Orienteering is an exhilarating outdoor adventure sport that challenges both mind and body by navigating a course marked with checkpoints on a specially designed map. These events promote cohesion, teamwork, and camaraderie within an organization. Participants work together in teams, fostering collaboration and communication while relying on each other's strengths to navigate challenges. Orienteering also provides opportunities for individuals to take leadership roles, direct the team, and make decisions. The healthy competition encourages motivation and a sense of achievement among team members, pushing individuals to their limits while emphasizing teamwork. Values like teamwork and resilience are highlighted, linking to the broader NE values of social and psychological defence.
