Description of Programme
Water plays an essential role in all our lives, and as a nation, access to and the provision of water is an existential need. The critical importance of water supply influenced many military decisions during the fall of Singapore. The ""Water Security Tour"" delves deeply into the historical, present, and future roles of water in Singapore. It explores how the nation has fortified its defences, reduced its vulnerability in relation to water, and ultimately achieved water independence. Through this tour, participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the strategic significance of water, the evolution of Singapore's water policies, and the innovative measures taken to ensure sustainable water security for the future.
