Description of Programme
This programme will debunk the all the myths you have heard about Singapore during World War II, with particular attention to the Fall of Singapore to the Japanese Army!
Explore the role the Guns of Singapore played during the Battle for Singapore and dispel the myths at Fort Siloso. Understand causes for the British defeat and Japanese victory in the Fall of Singapore. Learn about the differentiated treatment of races during the Japanese Occupation and discuss how the SAF will fight today.
At Labrador Park, understand the role of beach defences in defending the Guns and appreciate the role of the twin-forts. Through the programme participants will see the need for Commitment to Defence (C2D), the Singapore Armed Forces, and Total Defence.
Programme includes a short Amazing Race, competitive trivia quiz, and a reflection session.

Terms and Conditions
Amendments
a. The units will be allowed to make a one-time amendment to their booking, to be communicated in writing at least ten working days before the conduct of the NE Activity.
b. If the units submit an amendment to their booking less than ten working days before the conduct of the NE Activity, they will be charged an amendment fee.
Absentees
a. The full amount will be charged per participant who is absent from the NE Activity without any valid reason.
b. The charges will be waived in full for absent participants with a valid reason, subject to a maximum of 10 per cent of the agreed number of participants.
c. The following valid reasons for absenteeism are:
c.i. Submit a valid medical certificate or relevant medical documentation, or
c.ii. Furnish certain compelling reasons which are unrelated to work commitments, such as compassionate leave
d. Relevant documentation must be provided within 5 working days of the completion of the NE Activity.
Cancellation
a. In the event that units request cancellation of confirmed NE Activities, cancellation charges may be imposed on these units, if a cancellation notice is not received (in writing) at least 10 working days prior to the confirmed date of the Activity. The cancellation charges will be as follows:
