Celebrating Religious Harmony: Many Faiths, One Nation

Description of Programme

Visit the different places of worship — key historic sites in themselves — that make up Singapore’s vibrant and colourful multi-religious community. Get an exposure to the major world religions from West Asia, South Asia and East Asia practised here in Singapore and understand how they shape many Singaporeans’ perspectives on life and the afterlife.

Participants will also gain an appreciation of the common thread of humanity that runs through all these faiths, and the importance of respecting diversity and maintaining social and religious harmony.

Reflect on the religions and places of worship that were visited and how the experience contributes to the strengthening of Singapore’s Social and Psychological Defence. Programme includes a trivia quiz and reflection session at the final site.
